About an hour from us, you’ll find the French Broad river. This popular whitewater rafting river is well known! It features safe class I-IV rapids and some nice views and scenes. Most guides in the area offer a shorter 5-mile trip on this river, that passes over Class I-III rapids, making it ideal for most groups of beginners. A longer trip is available on the river, and takes you over a higher class of rapids including some Class IV’s.
